The Dangers of Being Incurious

Though Carl Sagan didn’t actually say oft-attributed words, “Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known,” he undoubtedly thought it. It is impossible to think of Sagan and not connect the idea of discovery and curiosity. When we become adults, we are coaxed by social norms into being incurious. But the human brain doesn’t reward the incurious.
